Art Exhibition "Korean Views; so far, so near"

Paintings, Photography and Videos by Korean Artists

The Horizonte Foundation in cooperation with Kunstraum44 will be presenting the works of Korean Art Students who currently study in Münster and Braunschweig in the former Czech Pavilion at the Expo fairgrounds on the 19th of April. Painting, photography and videos are being presented in an attempt to selectively tap aspects of young Koreans dealings with their own culture as well as Western philosophy and art history. Thus facing Camus, Ernst or Beuys but also raising simple sensitive questions regarding our dealing with nature, becomes possible. In this manner global, interculturally connecting worries and fears become generally recognizable, as well as the possibilities to learn from each other. The exhibition opening will be on 19th of April at 11:30 am. and can be viewed from Tuesday-Fridays and Sundays from 11 am - 7 pm at Sydney Garden 9, Expo Park Hannover (Line 6/16 Messe Ost.)
